That’s why our mission, inspired by Edwin L. Valeriano’s vision, is to elevate and deliver reliable, high-quality transportation for non-emergency medical patients across Curaçao.

Our beginnings

Founded on a vision of Compassionate Care

Our story begins with a man who devoted over 50 years of his life to improving healthcare in Curaçao: Edwin L. Valeriano (1939–2018).

With a career marked by passion and a commitment to patient well-being, Edwin saw the need for specialized transportation for non-emergency medical patients. Inspired by his mother Catharina, he established Catharina’s Care Foundation in 2008.

His vision was simple yet powerful: to provide high-quality, tailored transportation that puts patients’ needs first.

From its humble beginnings, the foundation has grown to become a trusted provider of non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) and paratransit services in Curaçao.

Today, we continue to honor Edwin’s legacy by ensuring that every passenger receives the care and attention they deserve.
